I have 13+ acres of agricultural land on West Bothwell Road, Bothwell,RR#3, Zone Twp, Ontario, N0P1C0 in Chatham-Kent County.The soil is sandy loam and some five acres are good for growing herbs and vegetables. The rest is seeded with permanent pasture for sheep. The land is flat, tiled and drained.
There is a natural pond around 2000 sq ft where water could be pumped out for irrigation purposes.The plot is protected from the wind by a woodlot at the backside as well as from the North.
There is hydro, telephone and HS internet hooked up.
The town of Bothwell is just about 1 km away from the farm.
I am in search for a business partner who has the necessary skills, knowledge and experience in growing organic herbs and vegetables. I intend to go 'transitional' and attain organic status after 3 years. I am looking forward to grow herbs and vegetables in early Spring 2011.
